Cornerstone Nucleo Paul Davids Signature

The Nucleo is the result of the collaboration between Paul Davids and Emilio Mazari, founder of Cornerstone. The idea began with Paul Davids' visit to a nuclear power plant in search of the world's most insanely beautiful reverb. There, he was inspired by the sound of the plant with all its unique reflections.

At the same time, Emilio was researching the possibility of creating ambient reverb. He saw Paul's video and approached him asking if he would like to capture the sounds Paul had found in the nuclear power plant in a signature pedal. From then on, they invested a lot of time, energy and grey hairs to get all those complex and detailed reverb sounds into a pedal.

The Nucleo is a digital reverb pedal with three presets: a room, hall, and of course ‘the Reactor’, whose intensity can be adjusted with the Blend knob. There are three intuitive sliders to control the modulation of the reverb, ‘air’ (a shimmer function), and ‘flux’, which adds random sounds to the reverb in beautiful and unexpected ways, giving you the feeling of being in a real reactor.

Pressing the second foot pedal freezes the signal, so you can play over your own soundscapes, but with a modified signal. There is even a latch function that ensures smooth chord transitions. The three other potentiometers control the decay, the tone of the reverb, and the pitch of the frozen signal. Each knob controls a second parameter that can be adjusted very intuitively via the switch.

Other features include full MIDI control, audio interface, stereo inputs and outputs, making this pedal a very complete and versatile effect.
