TOM ANDERSON GUITAR PICKUP
100% Hand Made in USA
We’ve been Making pickups Since 1984:
"The first year of the company, I ran the company from my garage. What fed our family that first year was that Schecter Japan needed American-made pickups; the American Schecter factory closed a few months after I left, and nobody knew how to make pickups. Schecter Japan contacted me and we sat down at Carl’s Jr. and made a deal. I set up a little pickup-making shop in the kitchen of our house. After I got through making necks and bodies in our garage during the day, we sat up making pickups every night. That first year we lived on those pickups, and we still make them to this day."

HC/HF SERIES
Within the sanctuary of a sleek and smooth cover beats the heart of a vintage lion. Mild to medium to hot output, HC/HFs sing with a wonderful vintage flavored voice, depicted by focused midrange energy and enlightened by extremely musical upper-mids and seasoned with sweet, soft and soothing highs.
HCs are available with a variety of covers. HFs are uncovered, black in color.
Now available for 7-Strings!
HC/HF 1-: A succulent and sweet and clear neck humbucker—throaty and full neck humbucker tones we all love without being overly bloated. A nice match with the vintage-level HC1+ in the bridge position. Specs: DC Resistance: 6.0 kO, EQ(0-10) Bass: 4.3 Mid: 5.3 Treble: 4.0, Magnet: AlNiCo
HC/HF 1: More neck humbucker saturation, output and smoothness than HC1- while still retaining equilibrium for the neck position perfection. The quintessential mate for the medium-hot HC2 in the bridge position. Specs: DC Resistance: 7 kO, EQ(0-10) Bass: 4.8 Mid: 5.8 Treble: 4.8, Magnet: AlNiCo
HC/HF 1+: Vintage level output and signature, with a voice of mid-centered perfection, surrounded by soft, articulate upper-mids and highs. Specs: DC Resistance: 9 kO, EQ(0-10) Bass: 5.0 Mid: 6.0 Treble: 5.0, Magnet: AlNiCo
HC/HF 2: Our other most popular humbucker, perhaps. Who wouldn’t love a medium-hot output package with all the vintage flavor firmly in place, wound to create a full bouquet of tonalities. Muscular mids with a smattering of lush and soft highlights so it is impressively musical, with never a hint of that “oops, I accidentally sat on a duck,” tone. Beautiful from all tonal angles. Specs: DC Resistance: 14.0 kO, EQ(0-10) Bass: 4.5 Mid: 7.0 Treble: 5.5, Magnet: AlNiCo
HC/HF 2+: Just like the HC/HF 2 with a bit more oomph across the tonal spectrum. Specs: DC Resistance: 17.0 kO, EQ(0-10) Bass: 4.8 Mid: 7.5 Treble: 5.1, Magnet: AlNiCo
HC/HF 3: The HC Series solution to hot output, with vintage character still nicely intact. Just pushes the front of the amp a touch more or when a bit more musical muscle is needed. Specs: DC Resistance: 14.5 kO (reads low due to different construction), EQ(0-10) Bass: 3.5 Mid: 8.0 Treble: 6.5, Magnet: AlNiCo
HC/HF 3+: Surprisingly musical and sweet but will roar when required. We have been very pleased, getting classic rock to shred tones. Specs: DC Resistance: 17 kO (reads low due to different construction), EQ(0-10) Bass: 3.0 Mid: 9.0 Treble: 7.0, Magnet: AlNiCo
