"The first year of the company, I ran the company from my garage. What fed our family that first year was that Schecter Japan needed American-made pickups; the American Schecter factory closed a few months after I left, and nobody knew how to make pickups. Schecter Japan contacted me and we sat down at Carl’s Jr. and made a deal. I set up a little pickup-making shop in the kitchen of our house. After I got through making necks and bodies in our garage during the day, we sat up making pickups every night. That first year we lived on those pickups, and we still make them to this day."

The most musical S size single coil, hum-canceling, pickups ever heard—a real breakthrough—even richer than real vintage coils with equal effervescence, highlighted by sweet, soft and lush highs.

SCs are sheltered under the cover of coffee dipped, black or white covers. SFs are uncovered, black in color.

SC/SF 1-: True vintage level, single coil sound, hum-canceling (great for neck and middle application). Specs: DC Resistance: 11.0 kO, EQ(0-10) Bass: 7.3 Mid: 3.2 Treble: 6.8, Magnet: Neodymium

SC/SF 1: Slightly more than vintage level, single coil sound, hum-canceling (great for neck and middle application). Specs: DC Resistance: 13.0 kO, EQ(0-10) Bass: 7.0 Mid: 3.5 Treble: 7.0, Magnet: Neodymium

SC/SF 2: Hot single coil-sound, hum-canceling (great for hotter neck and middle application or for bridge with SC/SF 1- in neck & middle). Specs: DC Resistance: 17.0 kO, EQ(0-10) Bass: 6.0 Mid: 4.0 Treble: 8.0, Magnet: Neodymium

SC/SF 3: Hotter single coil-sound, hum-canceling (bridge application to balance w SC/SF 1). Specs: DC Resistance: 20.0 kO, EQ(0-10) Bass: 5.5 Mid: 4.5 Treble: 8.0, Magnet: Neodymium
